Travelling on the tube is a big part of life for most Londoners and a new exhibition is celebrating all the hustle and bustle of public transport. Taking place between 3rd and 29th January at Barbican Library, “Tube Pictures” is a free exhibition by Martin Church of more than 100 new pieces of work. These pieces are made in public whilst travelling on the Metropolitan line.

The works you'll see use a variety of creative techniques including collage, drawing, painting, and digital compositions. Seeing the show also gives visitors a fascinating insight into Church's creative practice, taking you through initial drawings and sketches, digital processes, and the final framed works.
