This iconic London bakery has expanded into E10

Those familiar with the East London bakery scene would've heard of Pavilion, and if you live anywhere near Victoria Park, a coffee and pastry from their lakeside spot is probably a weekend ritual.
Well, East Londoners, it's time to get excited because they've just launched a brand new bakery in the former Lighthaus Cafe, a stylish warehouse that borders Walthamstow and Leyton.
It's housed inside Mentmore Studios - a space for more than 100 creative businesses - where they'll serve hearty batch-cooked meals, like onion soup with bread and chard gratin, dal (a Viccy Park favourite), alongside their frothy cups of coffee, flaky pastries and homemade snacks.
Owner Rob Green has stated that the plan is to create a weekday canteen-style dining experience paired with a weekend market vibe. Watch this space.
