Ikoyi, the West African-influenced London restaurant that holds two Michelin stars, is on the move. In October the restaurant will be closing its current St James site before moving to new premises at 180 Strand. The change marks the next phase in the evolution of the restaurant, and will be accompanied by a new menu, aesthetic, and restaurant logo.

Opened in 2017 and ranked as one of the world’s best restaurants, Ikoyi aims to develop a cuisine all of its own whilst drawing heavy inspiration from West African cooking traditions. It’s a modern venue that showcases its unique style of cooking through a tasting menu and a fixed lunch option. Diners can enjoy inventive new dishes alongside regional classics like jollof rice and plaintain.

If you want to get to Ikoyi before the move you’ve still got some time. The last service at the current site will take place on 26th October and bookings for the new venue will be available from 15th October. The Ikoyi team hopes to open the new incarnation of the restaurant by the end of November.
