The titular Romeo and Juliet in this case are Ciprian and Iuliana, a Romanian couple who were so inspired by their time living in Verona and the love of Italian gelato they developed there that they moved to the UK and opened their dream ice cream parlour in Stokey. Making rich, creamy gelato according to an artisanal recipe from Rome, they serve a selection of classic flavours such as tiramisu, salted caramel and strawberry sorbet.
