The Lalit London

Grammar school turned Bombay palace

This Victorian grammar school is now a Bombay-inspired palace, housing a colourful selection of rooms decked out in bright Indian textiles and beds with vibrantly patterned headboards. It functioned as a grammar school for boys from 1835 until 1968 before becoming a hotel, but much of its original structure is still in place, including towering ceilings and original beams. The Baluchi restaurant serves Pan-Indian cuisine alongside creative cocktails and soft drinks.

Hilton London Tower Bridge

Timeless Tower Bridge

Hilton London Tower Bridge is an excellent base for exploring all that the capital has to offer. You’ll be located only a stone’s throw from London’s top landmarks, like Borough Market and The Shard, and a selection of world-class restaurants. The hotel was designed by renowned interior designer Robert Angell, who used shades of brown paired with leather to create a stylish, timeless feel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the TwoRuba bar makes for a snug spot to grab a late-night drink before bed.

Novotel

Comfort in the city

It doesn’t get much more central than Novotel London Bridge, where you’re a short five-minute walk from historic Borough Market and an 11-minute walk from The Shard. Rooms are simple but comfortable and include bathrooms with a luxurious rainfall shower. Grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and bar Keepers, or venture out to explore the incredible restaurants on your doorstep; there’s everything from Padella and Bao to Casa do Frango and El Pastor.

The Dixon

In the former magistrates' court

The historic Dixon hotel is located in a former magistrates' court and is named after British architect John Dixon Butler. It aims to capture the essence of SE1 through its bright, bold design and eclectic decor. The Dixon's Courtroom is the place to go for cocktails and afternoon tea, set inside the old Magistrates' Courtroom where criminals would receive their sentences. For European-inspired food, head to Provisioners, where they plate up seasonal dishes with locally-sourced produce.

Residence Inn by Marriott

A home away from home

If you prefer to base yourself in a place that feels more like a home away from home, then opt for a stay at Residence Inn by Marriott. This hotel goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible, offering private serviced apartments paired with the convenience of a hotel. Drinks and snacks are available in the communal area, but your private kitchen comes equipped, so it’s easy to cater for yourself if you prefer.

Mercure London Bridge

Perfect for business travellers

This flagship Mercure Hotel is smack bang in the middle of the hustle and bustle of London Bridge, moments from Borough Market and The Shard. It’s perfect for those travelling for work, as four meeting rooms come equipped with AV equipment for those important meetings. Enjoy a bite to eat from Marco Pierre White’s hotel restaurant, which serves classic Italian grub, or venture out a few metres, and you’ll come across some of the best restaurants in the city.
