Taking over the former space of The Gilbert Scott, The Midland Grand Dining Room adds to the culinary pizzazz of King's Cross with a changing menu of resolutely French dishes, chef Patrick Powell's tribute to the room's 19th century heyday. Expect signature dishes such as crab and elderflower pain perdu, chicken liver parfait with a truffle and Madeira jelly, and Grand Marnier soufflé. The glamorous venue honours its Victorian origins, updating them for modern times, and features the standalone Gothic Bar in the front.
