Midan serves good food and great portions, reasonable price for the area, the staff have always been friendly when we have visited. Great views when you get the right seat!

With high expectations I visited the Irishman Inn yesterday (a new Irish pub in the area, great!). Nice décor, reasonably cosy, unfortunately after being initially ignored by the barman, then being told that Amarula is exactly the same as Baileys (it is not) and then waiting for a fair while before finally being overcharged for an Irish coffee (which we were told is different from an ‘Irishman coffee’, still the same price according to your menu). First and last visit, the barman is not doing us a ‘favour’ by having us as customers.
