Decided in the last second to celebrate New Year at Kouzina with very good references from friends and acquaintances. Waiter meets us everything seems really nice. We get tables though we are 30 min early. We sit down and notice that there are very older couples. Okay for us as we just want to eat well and enjoy each other's company.
We sit down and I take the menu and waving a bit for it is a bit stuffy in the room. Of which within 10 seconds I will be out (hard) on the arm of the couple (the man) who sat to the left of us. A very aggressive poting and taazy attitude. Apparently, the woman is next to us allergic to perfume and her husband asks me in an unpleasant and patronizing way to stop waving I declare it is stuffy and that he should give me some second so I end of which he once again pokes at me even harder and call me R Miscellaneous Profanity as F # TTA, disgusting etc. I ask the staff to move us quickly to another table. His unpleasuous continued I was called for man's hate, that I did not know how to behaved in restaurant etc.
We get a new table and the waitress asks us to Nice to each other. When I tell her about the situation and that it should not be acceptable to be treated, she replies, "They have been our regulars for 15 years and I find it hard to believe that he said something like that." The VA last straw that made the glass ran over, literally, it made me feel offending and dirty in some way. That our intention would have been to have a horrible evening. I ran the ladies in tears. Changed chair with my partner because the man continued to stare and bully us with his gaze. The worst thing was not to be thought of by the staff, not to be treated welding only because the huh first time I was there? or huh it because the restaurant can not recognize when a lesbian couple gets ill treated only because we were two women together? This would never have happened if I huh a man! Just the reason why I wouldn't get waving was because I had too STRONG perfume and this gave him the freedom to destroy our New Year's Eve, our dinner and even worse lose hope on humanity. The staff was very friendly and helpful. " The waiter went around and invited the entire restaurant at Ouzo (Greek liquor) apart from our table.
