Before our visit on Valentine's Day, I had sky-high expectations because of all the good words that had poured over Human. The room is nice, fresh but at the same time cozy, the volume is just right at the beginning of the evening but tends to pull in the higher direction the further into dinner we get. We are welcomed by a nice waitress, but I miss the personal treatment which is consistent throughout the dinner. The service is good, but the plates disappear from the table a little too quickly, and I miss the pleasant small talk and relaxed input. Now to the food. The small snacks come in quickly, which is always nice. They are good, but have varying levels of originality. Some are exciting, while others feel pretty much bland. We choose the large menu, 1200 SEK, with seven courses. Here, too, the height of work and the level of the dishes vary. The best of all were the langoustine and beetroot, which contributed with a taste sensation and flavors that married divinely. The duck liver was not to my liking at all, even though the flavors felt interesting and exciting. The fish was well cooked, but lacked any flavor that stood out and made the dish more exciting. I can't say that I'm dissatisfied with the visit, but I'm also not in a position to say that I will go back in the near future as I had significantly higher expectations than what was delivered. Maybe it was my daily form, my expectations, the staff's daily shape, the chef's day shape or just that the stars were wrong that made Human not top my list of restaurants that I recommend.

A finedining restaurant with high ambitions and that manages to live up to this! 👏 In a cozy and quiet newly renovated premises, which used to be Sportbaren Plain Kitchen, there is now a new top restaurant in Gothenburg. Everyone in the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. We chose a 7 course menu with accompanying wine package and the chefs took turns serving and presenting the different dishes, as well as the sommelier who served the well-matched and good wines made absolutely perfect presentations of the wines in an informative and pleasant way. What stands out the most is of course that the food was absolutely amazing! I would like to go back here again and the menus will apparently be updated continuously, which is fun.
