It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Battersea Power Station

From 9 November to 7 January, the iconic brick building will transform into a magical festive destination for all those seeking holiday cheer.

During the holidays, Battersea Power Station's turbine halls and the wider riverside neighbourhood will be decked out in sparkling lights, with more than 120 Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes, including a 40ft stunner in Malaysia Square dressed with over 2,000 baubles. The trees and lights will be accompanied by giant ornaments, such as a supersized bauble installation in the riverside piazza and a candy cane trail on Electric Boulevard, perfect for snapping a festive selfie or even a Christmas family portrait.

It's not all just about the decor, either, as there will be a number of family-friendly events, live performances, and fun activities taking place throughout the festive period. These will include seasonal arts and crafts workshops for adults and children alike, including a floral table setting workshop from London's oldest and most prestigious florists, Moyses Stevens, Christmas card and wrapping paper decorating, bauble painting, and more. There will also be lots of seasonal games, face-painting, and storytelling for all to enjoy, and Father Christmas himself will be stopping by as well. Winter also marks the return of Glide at Battersea Power Station, the only riverside ice rink in the city, and different Christmas markets will also take place in the historic building.

The various vendors and retailers at the recently renovated leisure destination will be getting in on the festive fun with seasonal specials and limited offers. With more than 40 eateries in the neighbourhood, there are plenty of options for those looking to book a venue for a Christmas party as well.
