Reviews of Xi'an Biang Biang Noodles Aldgate East

You can never go wrong with a visit to Xi'an Biang Biang, the hand-pulled noodles are just amazing.

This place makes me want to move to London, just so I could enjoy their hand pulled noodles on a regular basis. Even though many of their signature dishes are quite “simple”, the handcraft makes it an absolute divine experience.
The combination of flavours and spices in their famous, special sauce is just perfect, and the noodles (which you can see the cook making in the open kitchen) are al dente and chewy.
The staff is really polite and helpful, and you get your order in just a few minutes.
Highly recommended!

Warning if you have allergies.

I've been a customer since 2018 when it opened but after tonight I will never be back.

I asked the waitress to check if there were peanuts in the food I ordered and told her I'm allergic. She came out and served the food and I said 'so there's no peanuts in this?' And she said 'I forgot to check'. I then had to prompt her to check, it turned out the dish she served to me did have peanuts.

My friend then had chilli oil dropped on his hoodie, and the same clumsy waitress dropped the peanut sauce all over my handbag, nice scarf (totally ruined) and in my bag of Christmas gifts.

I had to push to get our meal comped. The manager laughed at me while I complained to him about the risk of an allergic reaction and our clothes being ruined.

The food has always been nice but the restaurant itself is very basic and the service is absolutely awful.

awesome noodle bar with delicious hand pulled noodles. super affordable and great atmosphere. The cucumber salad was a revelation. I will def come back soon

Best noodles in London. Hand-pulled ones are my fav with the beef!

Menu full of delicious and unusual dishes. Everything I had was really top notch and all came at a very reasonable price
