Besökte Sjömagasinet idag tillsammans med familjen. Julbordet var helt fantastiskt, personalen lika så speciellt Elvira som tog hand om oss, prisvärt kommer tillbax.

Jag var på Sjömagasinet i somras med bl.a. min mamma som varit där flera gånger genom åren. Hon älskar skaldjur och ville absolut dit igen när vi besökte Göteborg.
Vilken besvikelse det blev, både för min gamla mamma och vi andra i sällskapet som var där för första gången.
En nonchalant man i jeans och tröja kom fram till oss när vi anlände till restaurangen ( det visade sig vara ägaren).
Vi blev visade en plats och han tyckte att vi skulle beställa champagne. Vi avböjde och när servitrisen kom fram till oss sade hon ” lite vatten vill ni väl ändå ha när det är så varmt, vanligt eller bubbel”?
Vanligt vatten i en glasflaska kom in på bordet. Det visade sig senare att vi fått betala 75:- för vattnet! När jag senare påpekade detta i ett mail så fick jag ett otrevligt svar tillbaka att det fattar jag väl att allt som serveras kostar pengar och nu kunde han ju inte göra något. Vattnet var ju uppdrucket!
Maten var för övrigt ett skämt! Helt smaklös och svindyr. Med sådana priser förväntar man sig lite arbete bakom rätterna. Här var det fisk, kokt potatis, riven torr pepparrot och skirat smör helt sonika uppslängt på en tallrik. Min mammas räkor var lösa i köttet och låg i en sörja av vatten.
Nej, här sätter jag aldrig min fot mer! Jag råder den som överväger att gå hit att välja någon annan restaurang istället om du inte vill bli besviken.
Sjömagasinet står tyvärr inte för kvalitet längre!

Service was a little bit slow slightly
