Old school and traditional. Go there if you want to feel like you are going back in time and want to eat typically Swedish food. Also good for a business lunch with people who work on that side of town. Not that easy to find a good business lunch place nearby. Don’t go there for innovation, a...
Really tasty Burger I have to admit and the fries were good too. I understand there is a quasi religion here about the burgers and the quasi Spartan toppings and it works! The best burger in town? I’m not 100% convinced, as I’ve tasted some really good ones elsewhere too with more variet...
I have had a chance to revisit this local institution. Still very charming atmosphere as well as generous, delicious Italian food. I only had time for a pasta dish when I last visited but I’m sure the artichokes and the fish are still as good. Slightly too rich to be healthy but so much taste...
I have just tried the afternoon tea and it was delicious. The surroundings are also really pleasant and the location allows for the perfect afternoon programme: long walk around Djurgården with a spectacular finish: champagne, sandwiches, scones and desserts. Each of them prepared with origina...
Best Italian espresso in town. So nice with a little Italian vibe around Stureplan.
Ingers Kitchen serves a delicious lunch. Generous portions of mouth watering Chinese food, including some decently spiced classic Sichuan dishes. I was invited for dinner in the chamber séparée and I loved the atmosphere. As we sat down, the table was already covered by large charcuterie boards and caprese salad with buffala and sweet cherry tomatoes. Then they served fried calamari and fish. All really nice quality. It felt so...
This place is definitely a safe bet for lunch with a daily special for SEK 135. Nowadays, that’s a pretty good deal. Though if you go for a la carte you’ll easily pay more than SEK 200 for pasta, which is not a bargain (but ok). I wouldn’t describe the cooking as authentic Italian.
I would have loved to give Främmat a higher rating because some of the dishes were really delicious and the service was very friendly. But one star goes because some of the dishes were a real let down. Too much acidity/salt/umami that don’t let the simple ingredients shine. That’s j...
