Review of Främmat – by Anna G.

I would have loved to give Främmat a higher rating because some of the dishes were really delicious and the service was very friendly. But one star goes because some of the dishes were a real let down. Too much acidity/salt/umami that don’t let the simple ingredients shine. That’s just a shame to spoil these ingredients in that way. The second star goes because of the setting. I don’t want to drink nice wine (you can easily spend 900 on a bottle, so it’s not what I would call cheap table wine) in tasting glasses that you find at wine fairs. You want large glasses to swirl and sip from thin glass. The decor, the closeness of the tables, the basement feel and the noise level, that’s probably more a matter of taste. It’s ok if everything else is perfect.
But most disturbingly, the toilet was also absolutely appalling. Wet floor and overflowing paper bin. Just not what you want to find yourself in at the end of a delicious meal.
So all in all, room for improvement.
