How cozy any time, both summer and winter. There are not many zoos that you can be on all year round. There is so much to see and do. Go around and check on all animals, do different crafts, Christmas market and even the usual market in the summer. There is really a bit of each, and much as you might not really or do otherwise.
Something that is more or less obligatory is to visit the bakery at Skansen, only a bit from when you come up from the escalator, it is the world's better pastries. Freshly baked and well baked. Would recommend that you buy at least 3 pieces per person, to take home some.... But if you get as crazy in the pastries as me so is one of them already eaten in the stairs Påväg down from the bakery. My favorite is the bull with Blåbärskräm. Only the bakery itself gives me 5 stars.
