2023/2024
The former boiler room of Gasverket in Norra DjurgĂĄrdsstaden will house a restaurant, beer hall and brewery. TegellĂĄdan, run by LĂĄdan, will occupy the 650 square metre space, with a large area for 100 guests and a smaller space for around 30 seated guests. There will also be an outdoor dining area. The aim is to open in 2023, or the beginning of 2024.

Restaurateur Acki Kokotos is opening Restaurant Noema at a sun-kissed address on Birger Jarlsgatan, where food and drink will be the conduits to meaningful memorable moments. Taste-wise, there are no culinary boundaries; instead the kitchen draws inspiration from all over the world. Via a separate entrance you can reach Noema's intimate side restaurant, where cocktails and snacks are enjoyed to the tunes of DJ music. During the summer months they'll be opening up their outdoor dining area with room for nearly 100 guests.

As the name suggests, La Petite Seure is Chez Jolie's little sister. This charmingly raucous wine bar opens its doors in the autumn right next to their big sister on the corner of Nybrogatan and Ingmar Bergmans gata. After thirty years in Söderhallarna, at the end of November 2023 it was time for Melanders to open at a new address. The classic fish restaurant can now be found at Åsögatan 111, with a food bar where small dishes are served, and of course a fish and shellfish counter where you can buy marine delicacies. The art in the room is curated by artist Ulrika Melin, and at the far end of the restaurant, composer and artist Wille Crafoord has created an illuminated work of several square meters that represents an aquarium.

In the popular Södermalm area of ​​Sofo, Ta'ameya's sister restaurant Baladi Grill serves grilled delicacies from the Middle East, in freshly baked pita bread or on a plate. Bar Central has moved out of Nytorget, and after extensive renovations of the new premises on Hornsgatan, they're once again bringing a taste of Central Europe to Södermalm. The bar, which is right next door to Folkoperan, serves homemade sausage, schnitzel, sauerkraut and other Central European dishes. Naturally, there are also plenty of drinks of Czech, German and Austrian origin.

Bio Rio's old premises, where Indio Kitchen used to be, are now home to RiRi. Behind the new restaurant concept is head chef Elias Kvarning, who has previously worked at Ett Hem and Fäviken, among others, and who, together with his team, cooks over an open fire. The Mediterranean-inspired menu changes as often as daily and is described by the kitchen themselves as carefree fine dining that pairs perfectly with their selected wines.

The gang behind Holy Kebab have brought their kebabs from Småland to Stockholm, opening up their first Stockholm branch on Odengatan. They aim to take all the components of the humble kebab - bread, meat, sauces and vegetables - to the next level.

Stefan Taylor and his team have moved their fine-dining restaurant from Västerås to Kristineberg, where they offer a unique taste experience in eight courses in an iron-shaped residential building. From their seats at the large counter dining table, guests can watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen creating the evening's tasting menu, whose dishes change from day to day. Muted colors, dark wood and glass cabinets full of bottles of wine create a relaxed elegant living-room atmosphere.
