What would a fashion district be without a luxurious Louis Vuitton flagship store? Since the LV store has grown in size its range has also become more extensive. For those of you who lust after that famous logo, you'll find their classic handbags, the latest shoes and expensive accessories. In other words, one for a truly extravagant shopping trip.

In the summer of 2013 Prada opened their first store in the Nordic region and joined the list of Stockholm's fashion giants. With some 650 square metres on the corner of Mäster Samuelsgatan and Birger Jarlsgatan, the Italian luxury brand is a gigantic and unmissable addition to the other exclusive neighbours on the block.

Hermès' flagship store stretches out over 200 square metres of the ground floor of NK department store. The store opened in 2020 and Hermès' different elements are represented here - in addition to their famous silk scarves you'll find their beauty products and interiors here. 

You probably know Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta best for their hand-woven leather goods but they also make exclusive clothes, shoes, sunglasses and other accessories. Bottega Veneta has had their own store in Stockholm since 2008 where you can look, feel and buy their Italian craftsmanship.

French fashion giants Céline sell exclusive garments and accessories that will be timeless classics in your wardrobe. They're best known for their high-end leather handbags. Traditional with a modern touch.

Italian Gucci may just be the mothership when it comes to luxurious fashion houses. If you want a closer introduction, just get yourself along to their concept store on Birger Jarlsgatan. Somewhat smaller than many of the  brand's vast shops in other parts of the world but still in the same true Gucci style.

Alaïa, Christian Dior and Balenciaga are just two of the designer brands you'll find at Maruschka de Margó on Humlegårdsgatan. The selection oozes Parisian couture and exclusive catwalk shows. An international fashion extravaganza, in other words.

Nitty Gritty was founded as one of the first independent fashion boutiques in Stockholm and they now have two stores on Krukmakargatan; one for women and a slightly larger one for men. The range encompasses hand-picked international brands that can be hard to find elsewhere in Sweden. 

Swedish brand Acne Studios was founded in 1996 and were originally best known for their jeans. They now create eclectic clothes and accessories that are admired all over the world for their cool Scandinavian style. Their luxurious Norrmalmstorg store is decorated in marble. 

 JUS has been drawing in design fanatics to its slightly secret store on Brunnsgatan in the heart of the city since the Nineties. You'll find carefully curated designers such as Ann Demeulemeester, Comme des Garçons, Dries Van Noten, Maison Margiela and Rick Owens.

This high-end department store stocks masses of exclusive fashion, beauty, sport and homeware brands. NK has been an elegant shopping destination for more than 100 year, and browsing its hallowed halls is still an experience. 

If you're looking for true luxury, Tiffany & Co. on Birger Jarlsgatan is a must. The store opened in 2021 and is the first in Sweden for the brand. They sell some of the world's most exclusive diamonds and other precious stones.
