Brunch on Skeppsbron
In Hôtel Reisen's restaurant, history is ingrained in the walls. Back in the 18th century, the Dutchman Fredrik Reiss ran a (semi-legal) café in the premises, and over the centuries, the place has functioned as everything from a sailors' hangout to a meeting point for both travellers and locals from Stockholm. Hotel guests and local residents still gather here to enjoy food and drink with a view over the water and Skeppsbron.
On weekends, they serve brunch in classic brasserie style, featuring a main course followed by dessert. Dishes are crafted using classical techniques and contemporary flavours, with a focus on pure ingredients and a generous atmosphere that encourages meals to be savoured over time. Coffee is included and refilled throughout the sitting – and if you want to treat yourself, you can indulge in a brunch cocktail.
