Rumble/Sway

You'll find Rumble/Sway in Spitting Bulldog's former premises on Birger Jarlsgatan. Leo and Aron, who used to run Corner Club, launched this cocktail bar in spring 2022, aiming to fill a gap in the market and create an exclusive and laid-back watering hole that's somewhere between a bar and a nightclub. They serve top-notch cocktails, a wide selection of wines and beers and a carefully thought-out food menu.

Leo och Aron met in 2017 when they worked together at Brasseriet and Strömterrassen. Since then they've been a package deal who have worked at Hallwylska and Adam/Albin's Ön, among other places. With Rumble/Sway the duo want to create something that they believe has been missing from the Swedish restaurant scene. Rumble represents the fun, open, messy and noisy, while Sway stands for sophisticated elegance and a high standard of cocktails and service.

Cocktails take centre stage here, but guests can also pick and choose from an extensive wine and beer list. It's important to Leo and Aron to offer something to suit all tastes and welcome a mixed crowd. The city-centre address means that there are streams of people passing by all times of the day and night, so they've chosen to have generous opening hours - until 3am at weekends.

Rumble/Sway aims to be a grown-up alternative to the nightclubs around Stockholm. The atmosphere and crowd changes depending on the time of day and day of the week. Drop by after work to enjoy a beer and a bowl of pasta after a day in town, or go all-in with your friends and drink bottles of champagne or Dry Martinis.

You can even buy a bottle of spirits which gets its own locker in the bar. You keep the key to the cupboard, meaning you can come and drink from the bottle whenever you like, straight up or as part of a cocktail.
