Cachette

Secretive wine bar with flavours from the Mediterranean 

In a cosy space on Regeringsgatan you'll find Cachette, an intimate little wine bar with Mediterranean influences. The name is French for “hiding place” and a nod to the atmosphere they want to offer their guests.

Cachette is a spin-off of Tête and, just like its sister restaurant next door, the menu is characterised by flavours from the Mediterranean region, although with a greater focus on European countries. You'll find wine-friendly snacks such as cheese, charcuterie and other dishes that can be combined for a sharing dinner.

The wine list is carefully selected and mainly rooted in France, Italy and other older wine countries, but also contains a bunch of selected bottles from Lebanon. In addition to the wine selection, a lot of effort has been put into the cocktail menu, which lists both timeless classics and Cachette's very own signature drinks, flavoured with slightly unexpected ingredients from around the world.

The venue makes it easy for both small and larger groups to enjoy themselves. Exposed brickwork combines with white tiling and a large, deep red bar. Most of the time, the atmosphere is intimate and a bit secretive, but every now and then things get lively, with everything from DJs to music quizzes.
