Come here to play, meet like-minded people, have a beer, eat a 'Kappa Burger' or just hang out. Popular quizzes, tournaments and streaming meetings are also organized here. Kappa Bar delivers a Harry Potter quiz... perhaps one of the finest things we have! I have never quizzed here before, but this recurring themed night is apparently breaking record after record with competitive people, and there’s no denying that. It was packed with people dressed in Hogwarts uniforms and waving wands, and as a nerd, I naturally loved this. Kappa Bar hosts quizzes with different themes each week, often taken from movies and series. There are 20 questions, of which 10 have answer options and 10 without... I stumbled on the last ten this time. It was not easy, I promise you, and the ones who won got 18/20 correct. With that level of nerdiness, you can understand the weight of the questions - an extra gold star for that!

In addition to quizzes on Thursdays, they have a "game zone" where you can go and play CS, Call of Duty, Heroes of Newerth, and Battlefield 5. At this, or before/after gaming, you can eat classic gamer food in the form of burgers, pizza, quesadillas, fried cheddar balls, or milkshakes with vanilla ice cream and various toppings. As for the alcohol selection, it’s not something to brag about, but if you like bottled or draught beer, you definitely have an advantage. Regarding the venue, I think it embraces all that nerdy stuff and makes the stay cozy. The light in the ceiling, the small stage in front of the TV screens, and the staff contribute to creating a unique bar atmosphere.
