On the ground floor of the hotel Blique by Nobis, next to the reception and in the large beautiful lobby is Origo, the hotel’s sports bar. It is a very nice bar. Completely round and a pleasant place to sit. But that’s where the positives end, at the nice environment.
The staff was friendly. But all of them seemed new and no one really knew what was going on. Additionally, a situation arose with a bill (a guest who had disappeared) that they discussed loudly and somewhat unprofessionally in front of us other guests. We overheard details, and their loud tone of conversation was disturbing.
The food here was really not great. I had a salad that was both too expensive for what you got and quite dull. The burrata was creamy, but the salad greens were boring, and there was too little dressing. Absolutely nothing special in any way. The olives were out. No one found the peanuts. The champagne was warm and flat. Well... really not a delightful taste experience at all.
The hotel itself is really nice, and the restaurant Arc, at the top of the hotel, is simply magical! Go there instead!
