Wonderful Stockholm gem with both charm, good coffee, juicy buns and fresh salads. Hope no one missed Åsöberget bakery and given the queues during lunch it does not seem so.
I have eaten good soup with moderately tough sour along with an inspiring Linda A, bought with me good buns to mother-in-law, sat and Tankspritt wondered how it could pass 3 hours when I just thought about a quick cup of coffee. Just so it is. Hard to go when a well sat down.
Räksalladen is a clear favorite so when mom offered to buy with her lunch today, a sunny spring, it was exactly what I wanted. Plenty of shrimp, fresh and crispy vegetables and always a fluffy bread. Mustard dressing is good but also regular vinaigrette is great.
What disturbs sometimes is precisely the long queues during lunch and that it may take time to get lettuce when it is usually only a person who lays up the salads. If you end up behind a person who orders 5 salads, it's just to calmly wait for your turn, it's worth it.
Åsöberget Bakery is not cool but it delivers every time I think, without frills but with high quality.
