Whether you're a cycling enthusiast, craving coffee, hungry or a general Italophile, get yourself along to Norrlandsgatan 16. You'll find the concept shop Bianchi Café & Cycles here, selling the prestigious Italian brand of bicycles as well as serving creamy espresso and Mediterranean-inspired food.
Bianchi was founded in northern Italy in 1885, and their Stockholm concept store opened in 2010 (there are also stores in Västerås, Tokyo and Mexico). The shop moved a few metres to its current address is 2017, gaining larger premises and a facelift. The restaurant and café now has some 100 covers where you can sip an espresso, eat or have a drink while you take in the atmosphere and watch a cycling race on the big screen. The menu consists of medium-sized dishes divided into proteins and carbohydrates and including everything from fish dishes to Italian pizza straight out of their pizza oven. Their mission is to serve food that's both delicious and nutritious, whether you want to eat something simple or tuck into a full Mediterreanean feast.
The space oozes classic Italian cycling culture, with Bianchi bikes and equipment displayed along the exposed brick walls. Decor is modern southern European style, with brown leather chairs , light marble countertops and pattered mosaic floors. At the far end of the room there are spaces at the bar and tall café tables where you can meet up over a coffee or ambitious cocktail. Naturally you can also get your bike fixed in their workshop, which is right next door to the restaurant.

For an incredibly good lunch here a few weeks ago, my companion and I shared a carpaccio, tonfisktataki and a beef tartare, very good.
I love their aperitivo that they have on Fridays, a magical concept!
This is really my a/w place because it is close to work, must try dinner soon!

Is a little two-part to this cafe. Why? To two very important things are in opposite corners: food and local.
+ fresh, reasonably priced lunch buffet with delicious Italian Classics.
-boring local and narrow courtyard during the summer months.
Simply a great alternative for the stressed...
