Gelato Crema occupies a prime position on Hornsbergs strand, which transforms into a lively pedestrian street in the summer. This ice cream parlour serves up artisanal Italian gelato, made from scratch from pure, natural fruits and other ingredients.
Behind the counter you'll always find twelve flavours of gelato and sorbet to choose from. If you want to stay updated on which flavours they're serving that day, check out their Instagram, but popular flavours include hazelnut ice cream, made from Piedmont nuts, Sicilian pistachio and strawberry sorbet made from Swedish strawberries.
To ensure that vegans and gluten- or lactose-intolerant diners can also get their fix, there are always at least three sorbets on offer. And if for some bizarre reason you're not in the mood for ice cream, they also serve coffee, pastries and buns.
Gelato Crema is run by the same family that runs the charming Abrahamsbergs Café. Just as at their café, they aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a seriously good ice cream. If you'd rather take your frozen treats home with you they have takeaway boxes in two sizes, half-litre and litre, which can be pre-ordered or just come by and pick some up.
