Hakuna Matata

Hakuna Matata is a fabulous little café that serves food from morning till late afternoon. The café is family-owned and is run by a mother and daughter team who run the kitchen together. The menu has South American influences, with food such as tacos and arepas (filled cornbread).

You'll find Hakuna Matata on Luntmakargatan in Vasastan, not far from Observatorielunden and Rådmansgatan underground station. Enjoy South American-influenced breakfast, lunch, brunch and afternoon snacks here. The menu consists of tacos and arepas with various fillings, tostados, fruit, pancakes, coffee and much more.

It's hard not to smile when you enter the colourful premises, full of tropical vibes. Patterns, bright splashes of colour, flowers, birds and feathers - there's masses to look at, and it's definitely an Insta and TikTok-friendly spot, so feel free to share. On warmer days you can eat alfresco on the little pavement dining area.
