It took me a few months of energy to write this. But I feel that I have to tell you to warn women out there. I did egg freezing at Eliva even though I was told that the Region had terminated the agreement with them due to quality of care, patient safety and incorrect billing. Big mistake.
From the very beginning, I felt that they were sellable. Not much explanation of the whole process, but I just signed an agreement and then we booked a test and an appointment. I was barely given information on how to use the syringes and I always felt unsure about everything. When I watch youtube videos of people who have gone to other clinics, I see how thoroughly their clinics explain and make them feel safe. I'm shocked at how big a difference it is (and sad that I chose the wrong clinic).
Issues beyond the above: 1. I get uncomfortable and private questions on the phone (which benefit their sales) that are irrelevant and not okay to ask.
2. I have asked for a receipt statement for my purchases. It has been forgotten and made wrong and I have been met with their irritation with the administration.
3. I asked to go for an ultrasound with a different person than the one I got as she made me feel uncomfortable. They say they're swapping me for someone else, but when I got there, I ended up getting her again anyway. They also questioned why I wanted to change. Then I got her 3 times anyway.
4. They forgot to prescribe the last and MOST important syringe for me straight into a weekend where I couldn't reach them. I panicked but luckily it was solved in another way. But if I hadn't taken this injection in time, my process with all my weeks of injections would have gone to nothing.
5. When I converse with the owner by email to get emergency help, I also tell them about the mistakes they made and the bad experience. She only answers the question of care briefly but is not interested in feedback. There was no interest in understanding what had happened or how the clinic should be improved.
6. I had an unsuccessful egg picking. But my values were perfect and the midwife had said that I would get a lot of eggs out (only positivity and hype). But then I didn't get any information after the failure about why it turned out the way it did or any examination at all. I had to call them several times and they didn't let me (refused) talk to a doctor because "she never has time".
7. After the egg retrieval, the doctor and nurse had said that I needed to take an injection every day until I get my period. My whole cycle, body and everything during the process was disturbed. I was devastated and didn't understand what went wrong with the egg picking process. That's why I called and wanted to at least understand the injections I needed to take afterwards. But the woman on the phone told me to just follow the prescription instructions and couldn't answer why I'm taking the shots and what they do. Instead, she questions me and wonders if I shouldn't have found out earlier. But I had received different answers from them. One had said that I would take the injections "until my period stops" and another had said "14 days regardless". She ended up saying: Is this about you not wanting to take the shot? If you don't want to take the injections, don't do it.
8. I ask for my medical records because I feel that my process has been sloppy. Takes several weeks and I don't hear anything from them and I call them several times for reminders, and they say they have a lot of customers and I'm in turn to get my journal fixed. I never got it, so in the end another doctor helped me demand the medical records from them. When I finally got it, there was hardly any information, so I'm still unsure what went wrong in it all. I have also not heard anything from them or received any information regarding an egg that they managed to get out. I don't even dare to trust that they handled the egg correctly. Everything is a black hole.
This clinic feels like a factory where they want to "in and out" with their customers for money. There is much more to tell, but I think the above is already enough to explain that I missed out on 40 thousand on absolutely nothing and a trauma into the bargain.

Varning för Eliva Clinic, Tegnergatan 4, Stockholm
Jag och min väninna gick med en veckas mellanrum för att göra botox på Eliva Clinic. Vi skulle båda bli injicerade för sk ’kråksparkar’. 3 veckor senare (2 för min vännina) har hela mitt utseende förändrats och mina kindmuskler helt paralyserade vilket de fortfarande är efter 7 veckor. Vi har alltså båda två blivit injicerade i fel muskel av Eliva Clinic som vi omedelbart hörde av oss till för att få höra vad som har hänt!
Kliniken påstår att de injicerat för mycket botox (vilket är olagligt i sig) och att det är en läcka och garanterade gång på gång att vi kommer se normala ut inom två veckor. Följande så fick vi svårt för att prata, äta och dricka, dreggel i mungipor, kunde inte le eller visa tänderna och kinderna helt uppsvullna.
Vi vände oss till andra läkare för en andra bedömning (läkare som sitter med i Etiska Injektionsrådet) som mycket riktigt konstaterade att det är ett solklart fall av injicering i fel muskel och utfört mycket inkompetent. Eliva Clinic vägrade att kommunicera med oss, de vägrade ta ansvar, medge att de gjort fel och de ignorerade våra vädjande sms, telefonsamtal och mail. När vi till slut sa att enligt lag måste de återkoppla till oss som kunder då svarade de kort med ett sådan otroligt otrevligt och nonchalant bemötande. Det har nu gått 4 veckor och vi är långt ifrån återställda. Att en klinik i Sverige kan bete sig på det här viset är oacceptabelt, Om du vill undvika att bli paralyserad i ansiktet och må fysiskt och psykiskt dåligt, UNDVIK ELIVA CLINIC.
