In the Mood for Tea

Although Stockholm runs mainly on coffee, a strong gourmet tea trend has emerged in the city centre. In the Mood for Tea in north Vasastan have made a name for themselves as one of Stockholm's finest specialist tea shops. This is truly a world-class tea boutique.

Asian influences are obvious as soon as you enter the shop but they serve fine teas from all over the world, all of them hand-selected from some of the finest tea plantations in the world. Black and green teas are joined by more exclusive white and yellow teas such as oolong and pu'er (vintage tea). They also sell a range of beautiful tea pots and tea sets in glass, china, cast iron and yixing ware.
