On the fourteenth floor over Brunkebergstorg is Izakaya, part of Tak. As the name suggests, they've been inspired by Japanese beer halls and the focus is on both drinks and Asian snacks made with fine ingredients.
Izakaya has a warm and colourful feel with high community tables where you can eat and enjoy a drink with a view of the rooftops. Think Stockholm has a little too few brunch places (especially if you do not want a buffet). Tested Izakaya on TAK today and think it was nice! Nice place and equally nice service (which, however, was a little slow at times). Took soy eggs and today's sashimi as "snack", both were nice. Then we took chicken burgers and steak tartare for the main course. The chicken burger was huge, and good. The steak tartare was also good, but maybe a little boring. Should have taken tonkatsun or temakin that looked really nice. May be next time!
