A pizza beyond expectations!
I've never tried a Neapolitan pizza. I thought, "How big a difference can they be?" But wow! They're all I want to eat now in pizza form. At least they delivered it in top class! And it only takes 1.5 minutes in the wood oven so the order came out super quickly.
So fluffy and light in the dough. It was not heavy at all but very light and after that you did not have that heavy bread feeling in your stomach.
The filling on was good. I took a Con zucchini that included portobello mushrooms, olives, peppers, zucchini, three different kinds of cheeses and semi-dried cocktail tomatoes, which in themselves were absolutely amazing!! ... and extra red onion on.
Cheeses were felt to be a higher quality. It was very tasty and there was a real difference between cheese and cheese. I would love to go back there just to try their cheese tray! I think a pizza would have gone down too!
The place was finer decorated than a regular pizzeria, more Italian inspired. Where I was sitting, I looked into the open kitchen where they made the pizzas. Lots of different kinds of meat suspended and finely laid out, including for the charcuterie tray that can be ordered. Lots of different cans of olives, oil and everything various. It felt like part of Italy. I thought the chairs were a bit wrong. They broke off the wrong way I felt, and then there was electric light... Something I don't like. Real lights or none at all.
But the staff was super nice! Friendly, easygoing, joking and you got a good reception and service. Very relaxed place.
Since it was winter and snow when I visited, the outdoor terrace was not open. But I can imagine that it's super cozy on a hot summer day to sit out right by the water outside... and with a refreshing glass of champagne for only 100kr!
