Bakom Bolinder Strands Krog i Järfälla står krögaren Kristian Eklund som öppnade sin första restaurang, ett mindre lunchställe, i Sundbyberg 2003. Sedan har det rullat på med restaurang- och cateringverksamhet och 2016 tog han över en restaurang i Solnahallen. Men under alla dessa år har en annan lokal funnits i hans blickfång, nämligen Bolinders rekreationslokal, som Wallins spis tidigare huserat i. 2020 blev den hans och här driver han krog med sin bror som är kock och lagar husmanskost med kvalitativa råvaror.
