Cucina Povera Odengatan

I wanted to give this one 5 stars because I loved their sister restaurant at K25 (recently closed down). The food is still great, so 5 stars for that! Very rich but oh so tasty plate of fresh spaghetti with your choice or carbonara, amatriciana, tomato and burrata or pesto (and more!).
Unfortunately the wait was just unbearable. We came in at 12:15 for a “quick” Friday lunch and got out food at 12:55. This included queuing for the order and then waiting for the food to arrive. 40 minutes wait for lunch is too much.
The restaurant is obviously understaffed. The empty plates wait 10-20 minutes on the tables where the guests have already left and the kitchen ran out of plates! So we got our pasta served or should I say crammed in what looked like a glass salad bowl.
Sorry. I do love the food but I will wait a while until I make the detour back to Odenplan for lunch. I so hope they will improve 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
