Eat East is a Chinese restaurant that serves traditional Sichuan dishes at lunch and dinner. Experience traditional Asian food culture, from Japanese sushi to Chinese dishes, surrounded by photographic art and old cameras. Eat in or order take away or home delivery.

Eat East serves a daily lunch special and sushi every day. Traditional Sichuan dishes sit alongside Japanese classics such as sushi, sashimi and yakiniku on the menu. At lunchtime they also serve other Asian flavours such as Pad Thai and bibimbap.

In the evenings Eat East serves everything from stir fries to soups and dumplings, along with slightly more unusual forms of protein such as frogs legs and pigs feet. The number of chili symbols next to each dish indicates how spicy it is, and many of the dishes can be made vegan. Groups of more than two can order hot pot - a Chinese version of fondue served with beef, lamb, shellfish or vegetables. All dishes are created by head chef Tan, who won the prize for Traditional Chinese Food in 2005 and has many years of experience as a chef in both Sichuan and Sweden.

Eat East's Kungsholmen premises has large windows looking out over Flemminggatan and is decorated with wooden objects and furniture which match the dark stone floors. Walls are hung with black and white photographic art and framed vintage cameras.

If you'd rather order your food to enjoy at home, Eat East offers both take away and home delivery.

En otrolig resturang! Verkligen autentiska smaker, inredning och så otroligt härlig personal! Har bott i Kina så måste säga att jag är lite kräsen och eat east hit the spot. Det är också stark mat påriktigt, inte Sverige stark, så rekommenderar ej 3 chilis.

Skulle nog kunna äta här varje dag, så mycket gott menyn.

Vilken upplevelse! Har aldrig ätit sichuan mat tidigare. Sån speciell känsla att munnen blir lite bortdomnad istället för den där jobbiga känslan man kan få av tex chilihetta. Jättegod mat! Vill säga att det autentisk kinamat men har aldrig varit i...

Grymt härlig stämning, ankan är nog bland det bästa som jag haft i Stockholm. Riktigt schysst service och ser definitivt fram emot det nästa besöket!
