Better food than I expected! I was told the food was rather bland but in fact it was quite well executed and versatile. Miles away from the typical Indian you find in Stockholm! I was there for lunch and shared butter chicken and lamb shank, poppadum and naan. Deserts are also worth a look! Just the service was a bit odd. Long wait to start and then not a lot of smiles. Oavsett mysig lokal och spännande smaker falerar tyvärr upplevelsen av kvällens dåliga service. Vi fick vänta 15 min innan någon ens kom fram till vårt bord. Vi är gäster som har överseende att saker kan gå fel men servicen var riktigt dålig hela vår kväll. Vi fick be flera gånger om menyn, vatten och fick in fel mat som snabbt rättades till. Vi hade 4 serveringspersonal men saknade att någon hade ett helhetsansvar. Serveringen upplevdes som otroligt stressig och förvirrad! Maten då? Rätterna kom ut i jämnt flöde och allt var gott! Drinkarna, ostronen och favoriter som: bengulalinserna! Sötpotatis, Black cod, lammet och kycklingen. Köket har stenkoll och jag vill tro att servisen har det också. Fullträff, och helt rätt i tiden. Lokalen har god atmosfär med dofter och ljus som sätter stämningen. Menyn är oklanderlig och enkel att förstå sig på, med gott om alternativ. Måste slå ett slag för sötpotatisförrätten som var bland det bästa vi ätit, den var 10/10, men även kumminchipsen från snacksmenyn var nåt alldeles extra! Servicen var också fantastisk. Det kändes som om vi suttit kort tid, eftersom vi upplevt att allt gått så snabbt, servicen var så närvarande och vi behövde aldrig vänta länge på maten - men det visade sig när vi kollade på klockan att vi ändå hade suttit i nästan 2h! Ett bra betyg när tiden flyger 👌 Kontenta: India's bör testas! MISSA inte sötpotatisförrätten, den var magisk.
Vi körde 3 förrätter, 2 snacks, 2 varmrätter, 2 naan och 1 portion ris. Vi hade klarat oss och blivit supermätta utan riset och med endast ett naan, men det var kul att testa både tryffelnaan och västerbotten-naan!
