Indio took over Bio Rio during the pandemic and since then it has transformed the old café to an ambitious neighbourhood restaurant where Japan meets Peru on the plate. The cinema is still there, as are the original retro-inspired interiors. They aim to provide a unique cinema and restaurant experience where the past and present combine. The cinema shows a hand-selected programme of both current films and old classics. They also put on various performances and events, such as sing-a-longs. Indio Cinema is completely independent and can be hired as a venue for conferences, seminars, gala premieres, film shoots, art exhibitions, wine tastings, photo shoots and more. They're happy to help tailormake events for both private and corporate functions.
