Jacqueline's

Was so HAPPY to step into this restaurant! Jaquelines is what I have missed in Stockholm interior design. Super lovely décor: beautiful yet different and a bit of fun. So boring with all the new places that are decorated dotted the same with marble bars and nothing that stands out. At Jacqueline's, it feels a bit like you're in another city! If it reminds me of Tel Aviv, I don't know when I haven't been there, but I think it reminds me a bit of restaurants in New York and London iaf.

Anyway, I was here for brunch. Really bang visit! However, the reason why it does not become a fiver is because the main course does not stand out enough, but not because of the cooking but that it may not be good enough ground. Because we ate bagels. Who made an entrance in a very fancy way! The court came out on a bunk. I ate caprese as an accessory and my company ate salmon. Also tasted the salmon and it was perfect! Thinly sliced, good sauce. Capresen was good too, but there's not much more to say than good dressing. It was as good as it can be :) Hence the poor basis for giving a fiver. Must try a main course to judge! But I think there's a good chance.

For dessert, we ate an incredible French toast. But it wasn't really a French toast, it was more like a kind of cake? Something Tel Aviv inspired. Amazing was it!! One of the tastiest restaurant desserts I've ever eaten. It tasted like freshly baked and the ice cream served to melted <3 Take it if you go here! The coffee was good, too.

Then there are the staff! They were so incredibly nice really. We had a waitress but then a waiter came by who didn't think we had been helped, but when he found out he stayed behind anyway and drew an extra "presentation" of the menu and restaurant. Really got the feeling that he likes the place he works at himself a lot, which is fun! He was also incredibly excited when he talked about the dessert - we completely understood why when we ate it.

I am very much looking forward to future visits. Even looking to walk by for a drink! Feels like a place that has good drinks, when it has this trendy feeling. Hope more restaurants like this come to Stockholm!
