Review of Le Östermalm – by Ekaterina K.
I came in the morning to have breakfast. I’ve asked about sizes of the portion and lady (waiter) said that it’s okay and not so big and I can order 2. I’ve ordered 2 dishes the main one and desert (pancakes with blueberries but I asked to bring it with chocolate instead of the blueberries (I have an allergy) so she brought me my order and it was pancakes with blueberries and chocolate on the side!! So another lady came to me and I told her that it’s a mistake. She offered me to change it but I’ve said that she can just take it away because the portions are really huge (not like the first one explained), after 1 min with the same plate the first waitress came and told me: what is the problem??? I repeated again the same thing (they don’t have communication between each other I guess) and than she took it away AND!!!! the cook came to my table with the SAME PLATE, throw it to my table and said very loud :”Eat it and you will pay only 40%!” I was so shocked and replied that it’s not the matter about the money and he answered :”SO WHAT THAN?”
So the restaurant was full and all the tables were just looking on this situation and I felt myself like a piece of shit and it even made me cry. I couldn’t finish my breakfast PAYED FOR THE BILL and left. Later on I found out that this cook is a Co-owner of this place. So I think that is not the right way to make the business.
