Review of Mazra'a – by Caroline L.

5 out of 5 for the incredibly nice chef who came after our dinner and wanted to hear what was less good when he saw that there was a lot of uneaten food coming back. He was warm through and through and wanted to know what he could do better. That treatment together with the fried halloumi sticks and the creamy hummus were highlights of our visit. Unfortunately, the other 4 dishes did not live up to expectations. It was tasteless and in some cases actually not good. But the room is very cozy and the chef offered both dessert on the house and to personally take care of us on the next visit. So despite the disappointment with the food, I can still imagine giving this place another chance - just because of the friendly chef who I am absolutely sure can create incredible food. But this evening (or menu?) the food was not great, hence a 3.
