Tucked away in the heart of Södermalm, a stone's throw from Mariatorget, this Italian gem draws in local regulars and in-the-know tourists alike. Nostrano is run by Peppe Mazzella and Nils Molinder, the restaurateur behind Meladers and Ulriksdals Värdshus. Nostrano is a family-owned neighbourhood restaurant with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

You step into a small restaurant and immediately get good service. The room is small and the menu is short, and which is often changed.
It has an affordable menu where you get optional 4-course, exclusive tasty Italian food, for under 700 SEK.
The level of the dishes is very high and they could certainly have charged a lot more for your dishes! The dishes are small-medium and you absolutely go from there full.
The service is very professional, knowledgeable but at the same time familiar and cordial. They have a good grasp of the drinks list and served good wines and a positive experience. Many times Italian restaurants are very similar to each other but this one felt unique as they had a very well thought out menu that surprised at every dish and felt like they really made an effort to do that little extra in each serving. Can not but recommend!
