Top quality ingredients, from the pizza dough to toppings, take centre stage at Okie Doughkie. A stone's throw from Tyresö Centre just outside Stockholm, this pizza restaurant has been serving pizzas, waffles, wine and Beera Moretti - authentic Italian beer - since autumn 2020.
The concept at Okie Doughkie is simple yet uncompromising. Diners can compose their own pizzas from a choice of doughs, sauces and toppings. Ingredients vary according to the seasons but homebaked sourdough made according to a Neapolitan recipe is a regular feature on the menu, as are gluten-free options. Choose from sauces such as pomodoro, carbonara and barbeque and toppings include vegan and vegetarian, as well as meat and fish, options. If you've got a sweet tooth order a waffle for dessert, served with ice cream from Lejonet & Björnen.
The restaurant has a relaxed, industrial-inspired style with a bistro feel. Eat in for lunch or dinner, or order your food to take away. Stavros and his team at Okie Doughkie have created a welcoming hangout, whether you're grabbing a beer on the way home or eating dinner with friends.

I have tried some of the highest rated pizza restaurants listed on this site. To be honest, I think this is the best. A real hidden gem given the fact that it is tucked away out in Tyresö. Still, the owner really cares about what he puts on his pizzas which means some of the things available he...
