Restaurang Milles, which was founded by well-known restaurateur Pelle Lydmar, occupies a prime front-row position on Strandvägen. The art-filled restaurant serves food and cocktails with views over the waters of Nybroviken. Following his success with the Lydmar hotel, Pelle Lydmar opened up Milles on Strandvägen in April 2013 - an intimate little restaurant with around 50 seats and walls covered in art by Jesper Waldersten. Despite the exclusive address, the atmosphere is unpretentious and cosy; candlelight combined with flowery china, patterned floors, leather, wood and marble. A constant stream of guests head here for lunch and dinner dates, weekend brunch, a cocktail in the bar or an al fresco coffee.
The menu has both Swedish and Continental influences and consists of numerous European classics. In addition to lunch and dinner, they serve classic brunch dishes from an à la carte menu at weekends. If you're in the mood for a cocktail, they mix up both well-known and slightly more updated classics in the bar. Take a seat for an intimate drinks date before eating, or just a quick cocktail.
During the summer months, Milles opens up their popular pavement dining area with prime people-watching opportunities just a stone's throw from Nybroviken. A sunny spot for hot days.
