Supper Gården

Supper Gården is a place I've wanted to go to ever since I moved to the Capital, which is 1 year (note that my visit was before the summer). What has mainly attracted me is obviously the food but also the voice that I have heard so much. After trying to get me a table here one evening spontaneously (really for drinks) and for my happiness they had a table available even for dinner. With the decision anxiety that I get and have when I go to places that I longed to, I usually guard myself and order more than I might otherwise be able to eat, do not want to miss anything as well. And of course even here because I got crammed!

Took out their Instagram and pointed to the dishes i wanted to try and ended up with their chocolate-chilli slow cook on the higher v with associated nachos and sour cream (135kr), two different tacos of which consisted of pork side and the other deep fried chicken (unfortunately not available on the menu anymore) and sweet potato fries with chopped coriander and grated permesan (60kr). Everything looked very appetizing and smelly wwonderful. To this I got feeling and ordered their drink La Bonanza on martini, green grape, passion fruit and licorice that was a terrible good, even got tips on this by their excited and knowledgeable staff. I wouldn't catgorize myself as a licorice-lover, but to the acidity that was in the drink, it was a cool contrast with the powder they had neatly decorated the glass with. will not be hockey powder for me anyway going forward, haha. However, can sometimes walk around dreaming of the drink, wedgood!

The evening was ultimately great and really nice and certainly it was the staff, the food, the sound volume, the cozy factor and the decoration in the room that contributed to the overall impression, which I had also heard about before. The flavors of the food were good (clear, spicy and you could discern the different components that were presented on the menu when eating) and the price of each dish I think was perfectly okay, neither under/top with hindsight. Didn't really have much expectations for the food because I knew what I could order and it actually usually lands the same food on the plate... the safe card you know. And the flavors therefore become similar, if not recognizable.

Given the pressure they had on both the outdoor terrace and inside the restaurant and the high level they still delivered this evening, I want to give 4/5 the stars. The staff were professional and showed good knowledge of the range and also the small components of the dishes/drinks, which gives a professional and reliable impression. And the food/drink was served within a reasonable period of time.

How much and what is missing for full pot remains to be seen in the future, perhaps they surprise with something "extraordinary" or innovative. But I liked the concept and it would be foolish to change that... Well. Can definitely imagine going back and try even more dishes and drinks in the future, preferably in the summer!
