Review of Surfers – by Hedvig A.

Was there o ate with the family on a Thursday night.
When you come in, it's a very nice interior, you feel the Chinese atmosphere. Very nicely set on the tables!
When it came to the menu, it was very difficult to understand what the dishes were, so it took time before you felt satisfied with your choice of the dishes. There were very many different dishes so would have liked to have seen a more clear menu. But the waiter had a nice patience o explained to us what everything was o what they recommended ☺️
We took their shrimp balls, two noodle dishes, ribs, fried cabbage/pork, and baozi.
The shrimp balls were sickeningly good, fresh flavors and crispy. Their ribs were also good with a lot of flavor on them.
But what I was unhappy about was that their noodle dishes had far too much oil, almost so that they swam around in oil. So it ruined the dishes quite a bit unfortunately. And baozin was good but I thought it would be bao buns. I asked the waiter before I ordered that dish if it was bao buns and he said it was like that but it was something completely different. Hence my rating.
Otherwise, it was a cozy concept that everyone can share with each other, etc. There were good portions too so you were full! ☺️
Will certainly go there again to give it another chance when everything else was good o it felt festive when you were there with your company!
