I had higher expectations of Warung.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We sat a company about four round tables which I like!

When I have seen and heard that they should have good cocktails, we started by ordering a jug "Bali Sangria". The taste of the juice, which was not particularly good.

Then followed the starter, main course and dessert + a bottle of white wine. The wine did not go either way, but hard to blame them for it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ate tempeh with hazelnuts and Majo, Supergod! I also tasted roasted vegetables with a peanut sauce that was tasty.

To the main course I ordered Ikan Kari (catch of the day, which was Haddock), my company took Nasi Goreng (Indonesian rice dish) and Gado Gado (Tofurätt). Very beautiful arrangement! It's a place I'd wished I loved, but didn't manage to deliver.

Placerades 40 cm från annat par i tom restaurang. Engelsktalande servitris (svensk meny) lyckades uppfatta tre av fyra beställda smårätter, som hon sen bestämde INTE skulle serveras samtidigt. Dessutom någonting som var otroligt starkt i en av rätterna, utan att detta påpekades i menyn. (Obs. Har inga problem med stark mat i vanliga fall men det här var på än helt annan nivå, och vi hade inte fått in vårat ris för att mildra hettan i munnen...). I denna blandning av dåligt gästfokus och bristande svenskakunskaper uppfattade vi trots allt en och annan god smak.

Ett mysig ställe nära Hornstull, perfekt för en fördrink...eller tre samt god mat. Jag gillade att det fans tillräckligt med plats och att vi kunde höras bra på en lördagkväll. Vi fick våra pisco sour i fågelformade glas, en riktigt kul överskaning, vi tog många selfies med de. Vi beställde tre suveräna förrätter, bland annat rotfrukter med aiolisås.

Så himla gott! Vi tog avsmakningstallrik för två, NASI CAMPUR, och allt var fantastiska gott! Vi blev proppmätta. Så spännande och roligt koncept rent smakmässigt. Dessutom, fantastisk personal, som var trevliga, avslappnade och med härlig humor.
