It was finally time to try Wedholm's Fish. It was bigger than I had imagined. And less rigid. It was still relatively quiet, even though it was full. Very elegant environment. The staff matches the environment perfectly. Basically, not a single member of staff was under the age of 50, hardly anyone under 60. All very polite and professional. We got great service. Asked about a dish on the menu that was no longer there (kammmusslor in champagne sauce), then I got the answer that they could cook it anyway if I wanted to.
However, their free café (which is not a real free café) became the main course. They come out with a frying pan with the fish on and serve. Then they ladle on sauce. We said we love sauce, so go ahead. Oh, my God, that's the sauce you got. Sauce is what you love about food. This is the first time I haven't eaten the sauce. You got a lobster claw, a lobster tail, two scallops, turbot (was probably at least 100g) and sea tongue (also at least 100g). With half a (divine Irish) lobster for starter, it became impossible to eat all the food. We actually took the doggy bag, as my company could barely eat up half :) Extremely generous portion, for sure. But perhaps not so strange when the dish costs almost 700 SEK! Overall, the prices are greatly increased, but it is a luxury restaurant with the finest ingredients, so not so strange I think.
All great. This must be Stockholm's best fish restaurant, can't think of anyone better. If I had been a bit more of a fish person, it would probably have been the highest rating. The only thing I have to complain about was the company's starter, light-necked salmon. It was good, but nothing special, and also too small.

Wedholms Fisk is an institution. The fish is absolutely divine, especially with the Champagne sauce. Meet isn’t bad, but I would stick to fish or seafood there as that is where they really excel. Surprisingly the desserts are quite innovative compared to the rest of the menu. The venue atmosphere give an impression of exclusivity and luxury, which is reflected in the bill. Amazing if you want to impress out of town clients. Even better when they invite you. Perhaps don’t go there around if you want a young and hype atmosphere. It’s more “pearls and cashmere” than “high heels and instagram”

You'll never be disappointed here. Stockholm's best fish restaurant. Best ingredients, nice presentations, always good service, nice wine list. Repeat visitors.

A wonderful concept that is mainly based on fish of the highest quality that you get cooked in the cooking way you prefer. No hassle, the quality speaks for itself.

To round it off, it is always the warm cloudberries that have also been firmly anchored on the menu for as long as I can remember.
