Restaurang Tiljan is on the ground floor of Gothenburg City Theatre, with its own entrance from Berzeliigatan. Eat everything from a medium-sized dish to a three-course menu or just have a glass of wine in the bar, whether you're going to see a performance in the theatre or not. If you're in the mood for a big night out with both dinner and a show, book a theatre dinner that's served before your visit to the theatre.
Tiljan's head chef Stefan Stenbom has created a menu in collaboration with celebrity chef Ulf Wagner and dishes have classic flavours such as Tiljan's own Toast Skagen, fish pie and homemade ice cream and sorbet. The atmosphere is warm and intimate with muted colours and lighting and theatre posters on the walls. The restaurant also houses a large wine cellar.
If you're going to the theatre and want to eat dinner before your show, Tiljan offers a one to three-course theatre dinner served two hours before your visit to the theatre. Book your dinner online when you buy your theatre tickets.
