Sightseeing in Stockholm by land and sea with amphibious bus

City tour by bus? Experience Stockholm from the water with the Ocean Bus, which takes you sightseeing through the city by both land and sea, thanks to having both wheels and a boat motor. The hour-long tour includes both well-known attractions and exciting Stockholm history.

At first glance it may look like an ordinary sightseeing bus, but not long after setting off, the bus travels from land to the water, much to the delight of the passengers. This is a fun and different way to see Stockholm.

The tour passes both well-known sights and offers new, exciting facts. Some of the classic Stockholm attractions presented during the ride are the Dramaten theatre, Grand Hôtel, Skansen, Stureplan, Gröna Lund amusement park and the Royal Palace, along with plenty of other sights during the hour-long tour.

One of the highlights is when the seemingly ordinary bus turns off the road at Djurgården and drives into the water to great cheers. The tour then continues from the water in the bus, which has now been transformed into a boat. The activity is just as fun for adults as it is for children, as the thousands of guests who take the tour every year can attest.

Tickets can be purchased online or on the bus, and everyone over the age of three is welcome to join. The tour starts from Strömgatan 3, outside the Royal Opera House, and lasts one hour. The tour is live and mainly in English.

You can also hire out an amphibious bus as a unique transport or to experience the adventure with friends, colleagues and family. Experienced captains, sailors and guides will transport you safely and securely on land and in the water. In Stockholm there are three buses with a total of 124 seats.
