S/S Blidösund is a steamship from 1911 that still operates in the Stockholm archipelago on Friday trips to Norrtälje via Blidösundet, and Sunday trips back to Stockholm. On board there's a kitchen and restaurant where dinner is served during the trip, with Swedish archipelago flavours.
Book a table to enjoy a good meal while traveling between the islands of the Stockholm archipelago - regardless of whether you're going on a short trip or all the way to Norrtälje, which is one of the ship's regular destinations during the season.
The menu is based on Swedish dishes with a clear connection to the archipelago, prepared from scratch. The focus is on seasonal ingredients and on offering a complete meal range for both lunch and dinner guests.
During high summer and late summer, Blidösund Live is organised on board - evening trips where well-known Swedish artists play live. Book a table in the dining room and combine dinner with music in a historic setting.
On weekends during high summer, excursions to archipelago islands are also offered from Norrtälje and Furusund. You can also combine these excursions with a meal on board.
The ship can be booked for companies and events on the days she's not in service. There are three dining rooms for a total of 60 seated guests and the entire ship can accommodate 250 people for a standing cocktail party.
