Bluesbaren

Intimate, inviting bar in the middle of Hornsgatan, where they're passionate about blues music. The blues bar hosts live performances from Wednesday to Saturday, and major and less well-known artists take the stage. Dishes on the menu have names such as Nina Simone, John Lee Hooker and Roffe Wikström.

Bluesbaren, one of Södermalm's best music bars, is opposite Bysistorget between Mariatorget and Zinkensdamm. Come by if you enjoy food and drink in great company, particularly surrounded by music - and especially blues. Bluesbaren believe blues is a musical genre that deserves more exposure.

Everyone is welcome here. Forget your worries and strifes for a while and just be yourself. Every evening guests are entertained with live music, and you can have something to eat here too. The kitchen makes classics such as beef fillet, chicken stew and Beef Rydberg, as well as vegetarian alternatives such as halloumi burgers. The bar serves wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee.

The colourful premises are filled with guitars, photographs of old blues icons and retro armchairs. There's also an outdoor dining area with colourful chairs which you can spot a mile away.
