Regulars' pub with a long history
Since 1994, Pickwick has been at the corner of Drottninggatan/Fredsgatan, but the pub's history doesn't start there. As early as the late 18th century, the premises were used as a tavern, and then as now, people came here to socialise and relax over a bite to eat and a drink or two. In true pub spirit, there's a wide selection of beers and whiskeys, as well as genuine pub grub served for both lunch and dinner.
At Pickwick, you step straight into classic Irish pub surroundings with dark green walls, wood panels and stucco that speak of a bygone era. The atmosphere is relaxed and familiar, something that the pub's steady crowd of regulars contributes to. Whether you come here for a home-cooked lunch, afterwork drink or a hearty dinner, you can expect a cheerful welcome.
The menu lists both Swedish homecooking and classic pub dishes from Europe, such as meatballs, schnitzel and fish and chips, which are all prepared with fresh ingredients. As well as the à la carte menu, lunchtime offers daily fish and meat dishes as well as the week's vegetarian options.
As befits a classic pub, the range of drinks is as extensive as it is considered. You'll find both local and international beers on tap and in bottles, as well as a wide selection of whiskeys. Värsta bemötande någonsin. Min son var glad, hade druckit en öl innan vi kom dit. Bemötandet var inte OK, en tjej sa att min son kan inte serveras något. Inte ens en vatten eller Cola, vilken attityd.
Jag är en återkommande gäst som lagt ner tusent...
